Missed his time teaching and coaching at Loveland Ski Area

One of my idols growing up. Bothered me a lot when, and the way he died.

About 1995 with Billy Idol Mony Mony on the head set, I flew over that guy with the spiked mohawk at Copper Mountain, he was in a mogol field that I launched from a road crossing and flew all the way across the mogols , about 300 yards further down my bow legs fatigued and I caught an edge and wiped out, Glenn skied by slowly shaking his head. Waiting on spine surgery now at 66.

Love it…I did not know Wayne was so good and popular, but I did see him once at Seymour I was a beginner

Wow, what a great historical video! I grew up at WV in the 60's and 70's, sking with Wayne and Floyd when we all were learning freestyle tricks. What fun we had before it all blew up and they went out West. Floyd ran the summer camp at Mt Hood for many years in the early 80's when I went west myself. Black and Blue Trail Smashers !

I had the experience of a lifetime time when a friend ran into Glen in the Southern Sierra at the Muir Hut. We were regaled by the most amazing stories all night in the hut. He was so real and full of life. He is a wonderful ambassador. for our great sport. He is a living legend for sure!

He got the Mohawk going to punk shows in Sac in the 80's. I know I was there.

Yes, I remember calling her "Mom". RIP. Gwen took me from falling over my skis in '86 to skiing with blind people and being a clinic leader and getting level 2 adaptive certification in '93. And through '99 volunteering at the disabled program at Windham. The adaptive skiing/snowboarding experience has been one of the top three influences on my life, I would not have had that without Gwen. She and Ray are examples of the exponential effect of one person helping others, who in turn help others, who in turn help others, etc. Fun to be around, a life well lived.

Marion was my 5th grade teacher. I was just telling my wife about her teaching my class how to juggle and unicycle and decided to look her up. I had no idea she was such an amazing Skiier. I hope you’re doing well Marion.

I painted houses with Terry back in the day in Incline. I remember him telling me a few stories about his snowboarding days. He was always humble and cool to me, it makes me smile seeing him get recognized for that part of his life.

I met Wayne Wong while I was working as a ski lift attendant (aka: "Lift Rat") during the 1972/1973 ski season at Waterville Valley Ski Resort. I also used to ski at Nashoba Valley (in Massachusetts), where Wayne Wong was a Free Style Skiing Instructor.
